Nutritious, Easy to Prepare Calorie Controlled Recipes

Years of working in the health industry have taught me that weight loss is 80% what you eat and 20% what you burn up with exercise. Weight loss is essentially an energy in vs. energy out equation. Even if you are eating a healthy diet, if you are eating too much, in the form of calories / KJ, you’ll gain weight.

With that in mind I have developed and will continue to develop a seasonal collection of recipes that are calorie controlled, nutritious, filling and just as important — simple to make. I am not a chef but as a busy working mother of three I know how important it is to have nutritious meals in a hurry. This is not diet food just calorie controlled so the whole family can enjoy them.

You don’t have to be a gourmet chef to make any of these meals. Just start with the freshest, seasonal and best quality ingredients you can get then half the work is done for you.
